As a charity we value our policies and procedures and believe they are key for good and safe practice.
Copies of our policies are available in reception for your information and our safeguarding policy is available here.
Our team includes trained, qualified and experienced therapists. We also have a number of therapists who are undergoing training.
All team members require an enhanced DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) certificate and receive regular safeguarding training. Every member of our team has to have the appropriate number of hours in clinical supervision, according to their level of training, from trained supervisors who are approved from the regulating bodies. They also have to receive regular CPD to continue their training.
On average 25% of the children come to the centre because they are survivors of abuse. A further 25% of the children have been affected by domestic violence. The other primary referal reasons for coming to the centre are anxiety, disruptive behaviour and loss.
In our first year of service we have had 100% parent satisfaction and in following years we have also undertaken regular evaluations that show 100% parents are happy with the service they receive from the charity.
