Leaving a legacy of hope
By leaving a gift in your Will, or through remembering a loved one, you can help restore families who have been impacted by trauma.
Legacy giving is a powerful and compassionate way to come alongside Trauma Recovery UK to help us reach even more people through our Trauma Recovery Centres.
We recognise that it can often be a delicate decision to choose a Charity to remember your loved one or deciding for yourself whether to make a legacy donation. Our compassionate admin team are able to support you or your family with more information about the reach of our charity and how your gift may make a difference.

Giving to the TRC allows families to recover from trauma together, restoring hope and removing the limitations and labels of trauma symptoms from children and young people.
Legacy gifts
There are different types of gifts which people can leave in their Wills, including a percentage or share of your estate or an amount of money (a lump sum). Gifts can be donated to Trauma Recovery UK as a whole, or to be put towards the work of a specific Trauma Recovery Centre.
Gifts can be donated in the following ways...
A cash gift (known as a pecuniary gift or a specific amount of money)
A percentage gift (known as a residuary gift, setting aside a percentage of your remaining estate once expenses, debts and other gifts have been made)
A specific legacy item (naming a specific item)
We recommend speaking with a qualified legal professional, a solicitor or advisor, to find out more technical information on the potential ways that you could leave a gift to our Charity.
Gifts in Memoriam
By leaving a gift in Memoriam to Trauma Recovery UK you will be joining with other families across the UK and the Channel Islands who have chosen to remember their loved ones through kindly making donations to Trauma Recovery UK or one of our Trauma Recovery Centres to honour the memory of their life.
We are able to provide information about our Charity to support any considerations in choosing to give to us, including providing information leaflets which could be available for loved ones at a funeral.
Gifts in Memoriam can be made in a variety of ways, such as cash, cheque or online through our
Thank you for considering leaving a legacy gift which honours hope, recovery and the unique potential of each life.
